Haas 600 residential garage doors
Create Your Own Door with the Haas Door Designer
The 600 series garage door is an insulated stamped steel door. There are a lot of steel doors on the market, but here is what we like about the Haas 600. Haas garage doors are known to be durable, weather resistant, long-lasting garage doors. And it starts with the interior and exterior sides of the garage door panels, which are made from galvanized steel. This prevents warping, rotting, or rusting. And Haas makes this garage door even stronger by added a three-layer protective finish.
Let's talk about that garage door finish. For starters, the 600 series is available in 10 standard colors, including charcoal and carbon black. Then there are the wood grain patterns. There are two styles for the wood patterns. The first is a bi-directional pattern, where there is a vertical wood grain pattern on the panel and stile contrasting with a horizontal pattern on the rails creates the appearance of a real wood door. Here is a picture of the bi-directional style:
Haas has a reputation for creating durable, weather resistant, and long-lasting garage doors. Haas doesn't skimp on quality, and it shows in the look and performance of these overhead doors. The Haas 600 and 700 Garage Door series have a wood grain design and strong steel. This combination gives them an attractive appearance and requires minimal maintenance.
Help lower your energy costs
Newer garage doors can save money on heating and cooling your home, unlike older doors. Today's doors use newer insulation with higher R values. The door panels have better seals to stop air from moving through the sections, making the doors more energy efficient. The Haas 600 and 700 doors can save on energy bills due to unpredictable weather and temperature changes.
Haas Garage Door Construction
The Haas 600 doors are 1-3/8 inches thick and have an R-value of 13.45. The Haas 700 doors are thicker at 1-3/4 inches thick and have an R-value of 16.18. Both the 600 series and 700 series has a complete thermal break between the panels – this maximizes thermal efficiency as energy as thermal energy loss is reduced between the panels.
